A bit, yeah. Starfleet does peacekeeping; you never know when a princess from a nearby planet wants a tour of the ship.

What is Starfleet? Do you mean a space ship?

Peacekeeping and humanitarian armada for the United Federation of Planets. And yeah, a starship.

My brother has an airship that is very impressive. I can hardly imagine it flying away from Earth.

That sounds like a wonderful mission. [Britannia's is more about conquering everything.]

It can be. Before I showed up here, we'd just shipped out for five years on an exploration sort of voyage.

That sounds like a long time to be away from your home.

[ There's a slight shrug. ] Academy was three years in San Francisco. I don't have much else besides.

It does sound like it must be a wonderful adventure. Well, not that you're there just now. The City is a different sort of adventure.
