This is Leonard McCoy, Chief Medical Officer aboard the USS Enterprise. Bridge, do you copy?
[ There’s a man in science blue standing next to the fountain, looking cold and grumpy as he shakes his device. ]
Damn interference… Enterprise, this is McCoy. I don’t know what the hell happened with those infernal transporters, but I’m damn sure I ain’t where I’m supposed to be. Scott, can you hear me? Jim? Uhura? Sulu? Chekov? Chapel? Anyone?
… Spock?
[ Nothing, not even the hobgoblin. Dammit. ]
Right, well. Looks like I’ll try and blend in. Christmas music and all...
[ Except since his communicator couldn’t reach the Enterprise, it broadcasted his conversation to the entire city instead… ]

voice;
[ Oh-- well, if she really wants his name again, he's glad to give it. There's just one thing. ]
It's doctor, actually. And McCoy -- Leonard McCoy.
voice;
[No, seriously. Why does she keep befriending doctors? She hopes it's not some hilarious hint from the universe about how she lives her life. She isn't that reckless, thanks.]
At any rate, hullo, Dr McCoy. I'm Ginny Weasley.
voice;
[ Nah, if it were, Harry would be meeting hi--
Oh. Oh wait. ]
's nice to meet you. [ Even if the circumstances are, quite frankly, absolute shit. ]
voice;
Given the circumstances, of course.
[She doesn't need magic to guess that.]
The City always likes to get us in the middle of something. Probably thinks it's funny.
voice;
Right.
[ He grimaces, and though she can't see it, it's more than audible in his voice. ]
Guess my introduction could have been worse than Christmas music.
