[ There’s a man in science blue standing next to the fountain, looking cold and grumpy as he shakes his device. ]

Damn interference… Enterprise, this is McCoy. I don’t know what the hell happened with those infernal transporters, but I’m damn sure I ain’t where I’m supposed to be. Scott, can you hear me? Jim? Uhura? Sulu? Chekov? Chapel? Anyone?

… Spock?

[ Nothing, not even the hobgoblin. Dammit. ]

Right, well. Looks like I’ll try and blend in. Christmas music and all...

[ Except since his communicator couldn’t reach the Enterprise, it broadcasted his conversation to the entire city instead… ]

It is most likely merely a curse, and a rather harmless one. It will stop by midnight.

This place is rather strange, and gathers people from different worlds and ages. None of us truly belong here. I believe the word is "pan galactic nexus", though I do not know what that means exactly.

Oh, the Shadowhunters were in my home world, though one of them was here for a while as well. But there are vampires here, and shapeshifters, and-- others. [ She would know. ]

New York originally, though I was in London before I arrived here, and the year was 1878. And you, Doctor?

Georgia, originally, though I've been in California for the past three years. [ And space. ] And it was 2258.

2258? I think you are by far the furthest in the future of everyone that I have spoken to. Most people seem to be from around 2000.

The technology all from about that time? [ Not that she'd know, exactly, being from the 1800s, but... ]

That is certainly true, though everything I thought I knew was real has already been turned upside down once, so accepting that more than what I knew existed was not such a difficult exercise.
